Postmodern James Bond

This is a painting from a class project. We were told we had to choose an icon and include the words “holly postmodern pastiche, it’s…” We could only have a pallet of 3 colours and we had to choose a style from another artist, any artist to copy.
I chose James Bond (Sean Connery) as my icon because I wanted to do something outside my “box”. The style I chose to paint him in made it that more effective.
The photo of this is really bad but the words are actually coming out of the gun, they are a lot clearer in person – a lot clearer!
Other then that I’m really happy how this painting turned out
